Hello everyone, how have you all been? It’s almost Spring and I know that some of you are way ahead on stocking up for your Spring essentials – unlike me. But here’s the list of things that I’d like to add to my Spring collection.
When I think of Spring makeup I think about fresh faced looks – simple and sweet with a splash of colour.
The NARS Sheer Glow Foundation in Trinidad
First up is this sheer foundation from NARS in the shade Trinidad. It helps to keep skin hydrated and gives and glowing and natural finish. This is ideal for me because I don’t usually like to wear full coverage foundation, but on days that I’d like to this foundation also offers buildable coverage.
Aveeno Protect + Hydrate Lotion Sunscreen with Broad Spectrum SPF 70
You have to remember your sun block! And I like this one because not only does it protect against the sun’s rays but it also hydrates as well – I’m a sucker for moisturising! It’s sweat and water resistant and good both your face and body. It only works for 80 minutes though, so you’d have to bring it along for touch ups.
6-Piece Geometric Eyeshadow Palette
I love E.L.F and their affordable, quality products. I’m not sure if I mentioned this before but I really like nude eyeshadows and tend to use them the most. This 6 piece eyeshadow palette from E.L.F is packed with them and only costs $3! Another plus for me is that they’re shimmery as well. It’d be perfect for me for Spring.
Real Techniques Blush Brush
I’m absolutely in love with my Real Techniques brushes. They’re are such good quality and efficient and I’d think that this blush brush would be no different. This brush would be great for applying some blush to my cheekbones.
Sigma | E32 – Exact Blend
I love a good blended eyeshadow and this E32 exact blend brush from Sigma seems a good brush for the job. I heard a lot of good things about Sigma and I’ve been wanting to try some of their brushes for a while.
Spring Capsule Collection by Rita Ora for Rimmel London
I love these lip colours for Spring in Rimmel’s new Spring Capsule Collection which they collaborated on with Rita Ora. They’re lip crayons giving a smooth application. Can’t wait!
So I know that the radio silence has been . . . a bit much, but with final exams coming up I do have quite a lot of things to do and so my posting wont be too regular for the next couple of months, but that does not meant that I will stop blogging completely. I’ll continue to try and blog as much as I can. I hope you all understand.
Bye everyone! I’ll talk to you in the next post!

It’s February! And that means that Valentines Day is only a short time away. Some of you – the non singles – will most likely be going out with your significant others that day, while the rest of us find something else to do.
Some people may not have even planned where they’ll be going or what they’ll be wearing for their date. I’ve come up with some destination outfits that could give you inspiration while you plan out where you’re going or to just give some inspiration on some outfit ideas.
Today’s destination is the beach. Spending a day at the beach can be really fun, for me it’s a place where you can relax and have fun.
For the swimsuit I chose something really cute and simple. The swimsuit is really the focal point of this outfit, it has the most colour and really catches the eye, without being too much. This comes from Topshop.
I threw in a little coverage for a day at the beach with a cover-up. I really like this one that goes to about mid-thigh with all it lace and fringe-y goodness from John Lewis.
Overall I wanted to keep this look pretty simple, but I also wanted every piece to have a voice and these shoes just mellowed right in with everything -in terms of matching – while of course still standing out a bit by bringing in some gold to the mix. These shoes are just so cute and practical for the beach. These shoes are from Sperry Top-Sider.
Of course if you’re planning to spend a day at the beach you’ll need a bag to cart everything around in. This bag has a lot of space just for that purpose while still managing to look chic. This bag comes from Saks Fifth Avenue.
Lastly were at accessories. Since it was basically a day out at the beach I chose something where you could go into the water without worrying about having to take off all your accessories before going in. This is a handmade Mustique bracelet from JIYA.
And so there you have it my Valentines beach outfit.
If you’re interested in any of the clothing items mentioned above you can check them out using the links below.
*P.S – Don’t mind the chair, I was just trying to add to the beach theme.
Bye everyone and I’ll talk to you in my next post!
Hey all, I know it’s been a while since my last post and that my posting hasn’t been too regular this month, but the final exam rush has started way earlier than I expected with all those assignments to do and tests to study for. But, I will still try my best to do posts at least twice a week. That’s all that I can promise at this point and come June, things should be back to normal if not better.
So, on with the post. Today’s post is ‘Fashion Friday’ where I have concocted – I’d say one of my best clothing combinations yet.
This is a gold sequinned blazer from Topshop at a price of $74. I couldn’t find this particular jacket anywhere on the internet, but here’s
a pretty good look alike, still from Topshop for £39.20. I really like the jacket with all it’s sequins and such, it’s simple yet it says a lot, and it really just brings the whole outfit together.
I have a crush on this dress. It’s a white dress with just a tad bit of floral print. There’s a cut out in the mid-centre and a partial gold belt at the front. Shape-wise it’s just a sleeveless body hugging dress, but the detailing just really makes it pop and stand out. The dress is from Sass and Bide – they have some outrageously gorgeous clothing.
I chose these shoes as the colour really highlighted the floral pattern of the dress and also because those shoes are just something else. I’ve been wanting a pair of sneaker styled stilettos. These come from heels.com here
for $89.99 and their from the brand ‘Priviledged’ and right now up until February 5th, heels.com is offering free second day shipping as well as free return – so take advantage while you can.
I chose these earings because the outfit is already so out there that I just wanted to keep accessories minimal and simple. The 14K white gold diamond studs come from JCPenney
at a price of $833.33, but you can get a pair of zirconia look alikes at Amazon for a way lower price of $49.00 here
This clutch comes from Jimmy Choo at a price of $1,450 here
, but that is outrageously expensive so I found some alternatives for you guys. At River Island you can get a somewhat similar clutch here
for £12.00 or you could also get a completely gold envelop clutch at eBay for $11.48 here
. $1,450 here, but that is outrageously expensive so I found some alternatives for you guys.
I really like round sunglasses, these ones are from Chanel for £220 here
or you can get something similar at ASOS here
for a way lower price of £10.
What do you guys think of this outfit?
What would you change?
Which items do you like most?
Bye everyone, and I’ll talk to you in my next post.
“May Light always surround you;
Hope kindle and rebound you.
May your Hurts turn to Healing;
Your Heart embrace Feeling.
May Wounds become Wisdom;
Every Kindness a Prism.
May Laughter infect you;
Your Passion resurrect you.
May Goodness inspire
your Deepest Desires.
Through all that you Reach For,
May your arms Never Tire.”

Hey everyone, ¡Feliz Año Nuevo! (Happy New Year!)
This is my first post of the new year and my first ever post for the #2014bloggerchallenge. Wow, it’s really 2014 already, I can hardly believe it!
But, in disregard of me living in December 34th, the first topic for the #2014bloggerchallenge is based on new year’s inspiration. The quote that I put above is basically the epitome of what inspires me for the new year. The new year for me is a chance to continue on and it’s a continuing chance to do want you want to do and fulfil your goals and dreams!
And there’s so much that you can do in life if you only try, a new year symbolises a chance to do that.
So don’t let this year be like the last – even if the last year was the best you’ve ever had – let this year be better than all the others. Work harder and play harder! There are 362 days left in this year, and there are just too many possibilities out there. So I urge you not to waste those days – not a single on. Life’s too short to spend time doing nothing. Do something.
Thank you guys for listening to my rambling, and I still haven’t heard from you guys what your New Year’s resolutions are. So, what are they? Let me know.
Bye guys and I’ll talk to you in the next post.

This post features product suggestions for anyone just starting out with makeup. I’ve included just the bare essentials to have a complete set and even better all products are under $8 dollars each, with most products coming from Forever21 and the kabuki brush coming from H&M.
The Forever21 brush set
is labelled with what the brushes are for, which will make the whole learning process much easier. Not having to remember which brush is for what will really take the load off.
There’s a lip gloss
included to give a twinge off colour to the lips and to help with keeping your lips moisturised. A mascara
is there to help your eyes really pop. But wait . . . you want more, you ask? Well, have no fair. There’s also some false lashes
at varying lengths that you can try out with the use of the included glue.
The ’21 Shades Palette’ comes with tons of neutral eyeshadow
to try. There’s a packet of make-up wipes
to take it all off at the end of the day, there’s a cute little ‘Are You Kitten Me Right Meow’ compact mirror
to watch all this happen and in the end there’s a chic make-up pouch
to store it all in.
So that is all. Everything is from Forever21 except the kabuki brush
which is from H&M. I got a the links to the different products for you guys. Hope you like.

Hello readers of this blog post.
For this, day 8 of Christmas, post I’ll be sharing with you guys the sheets that I got to kind of get my room into the Christmas mood. The sheets aren’t really all that Christmas themed but in terms of colour, they’re on their way there.
The sheets come packed in a plastic zip-able bag and the card in the front shows what exactly is inside. Inside there are two sheet: The flat sheet and the fitted sheet, and also there are four pillow cases. The brand is ‘Home Beauty’ and it was made in China for the USA, and so I’m guessing that even though I bought my sheets here in Nevis, if you’re in the States and maybe even China, you can get yourselves one of these bedding sets if you like.
Here’s how they looked after I put them on my bed.
These sheets, to be honest, aren’t the best I’ve ever had. They shift out of place a bit too easily.
I really hope that you guys have enjoyed this post.
Bye everyone, and I’ll talk to you guys in the next post.
