It’s day 6 of Christmas and so this post marks the halfway point. Today’s post will be a compilation of my favourite holiday looks of 2013. Enjoy!
Loving those lashes.
I hope you enjoy these pictures and find some inspiration from them.
Bye guys and I’ll talk to you in the next post.

I hope that as many of you as possible will participate in this challenge.
Bye all, I’ll talk to you guys in the next post.
This week it’s week 4 and this post will be about Christmas gift ideas for men and women and since I don’t really post anything about guys, let’s do their section first shall we.
If you’re like me you find it very hard to find gifts for guys when you’re so caught up in the world of girl. Am I right? Well, for you all I’ve come up with a few gift ideas for the guys.
We all need to look our best right? And so how can you go wrong with a grooming kit. This grooming kit, seen above, from Sephora comes complete with a nail file, nail clippers, a lint pad, small scissors and . . . a cork screw? This one is in a good travel size, but you can get any other grooming kit that you wish.
Some guys like cologne, and so if the guy you’re shopping for likes it why not get him some? You could get him a fragrance set like the one above or maybe just something similar.
Have a bit of fun and get them a T-Shirt with a silly caption, this ‘Sorry Girls, This Guy Is Taken’ Tee is a good example. You could even have a shirt custom printed with anything you want, maybe even with something they say a lot. It’s 21 days before Christmas so there’s still time.
Who says guys don’t like jewellery? The necklace is a Harry Potter Dark Mark Necklace, so if you have any Harry Potter Fans or just jewellery lovers in general then this piece would be a good gift for them.
A guy kit comes filled with goodies for boys, for example ‘The Man Can’ in the picture above has some great things for guys.
Sea Salt Soap
You could always give something unusual, I mean who’s ever heard of sea salt soap? Or, of course, you could always think of something else unusual to give a little spice to your Christmas gifts this year.
Teddy bear. Why? Why not? What would be better than to see that look on his face when he unwraps a teddy!?! Priceless! Give a try and tell me the reaction in the comments of this post later. We can make a game of it.
*Bonus – You could always bake something as little something something extra with the presents.
Now onto the girls.
Get one for her and you (or maybe for her and her friend if you’re her mom, or, uncle . . . or something). Friendship bracelets mean a lot and would make a great Christmas present. Get a design that would suit both wearers.
Makeup Sample Set
Are you shopping for someone who has just starting to try out makeup or someone who likes trying new makeup products? If so, then this SmashBox Try It Kit would be great for them. It would give them the chance to try out a variety of products without your wallet having to suffer.
Travel Brush Set
This is good for girls that travel or those who just like to have a makeup touch-up here and there when they’re not a home. This set is travel friendly as it is travel size and so wouldn’t take up much space in a purse or suitcase.
Have a girly girl or a perfume lover on your hands? Then get them ‘Dot’, a highly raved Marc Jacobs perfume.
I know I don’t like using the same makeup bag over and over again, so add to her makeup bag collection. Get a makeup bag design that embodies her personality – there are just so many to choose from. You can check some out here or here.
Handbags can be really expensive, but the one above is a real steal as it looks so great for such a reasonable price. But, if you want to splurge on a handbag this season go ahead. In the end it’s all about what you feel comfortable with.
So these are all the gift ideas that I came up with for guys and girls. What do you think?
Which ones would you get or would like to receive?
Later everyone, I’ll talk to you in the next post.
The following pictures are of VS models at the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Just came across these and in my opinion most of these outfits are just too showy.
This goes in order of appearance.
Lindsay Ellingson: Decked out in a structural burgundy-hued minidress courtesy of Mugler Spring 2013, Lindsay took a more futuristic approach to sexy styling. To lighten the mood, she accessorized with powder pink pumps.
Karlie Kloss: Chose an off-the-shoulder, cleavage-enhancing LWD from Cushnie Et Ochs Resort 2014, and paired it with a white studded Rebecca Minkoff ‘Coco’ clutch and black sandals.
Alessandra Ambrosio: Showed off her toned physique in a red leather Anthony Vaccarello Spring 2014 look, which featured a daring open front and a triangle-shaped detail at the skirt’s hem. Metallic pumps and a gold cuff bracelet completed the look.
Toni Garrn: This gunmetal grommet-detailed look from Anthony Vaccarello’s Fall 2013 collection has been making the star-studded rounds in its various forms. Despite repeated air time, Toni wore the skin-revealing, one-sleeved LBD well, accenting it with a pair of black pumps and a silver cuff.
Sara Sampaio: Dressed in a printed bandeau top and ankle-cut trousers with a dramatically ruffled waistline — in matching shades of soft pink, no less — the model went a more whimsical styling route in an Osman Spring 2014 look. She finished it off with black pointy-toe pumps and a wristful of black cuff bracelets.
Hilary Rhoda: The newly-engaged stunner selected Prabal Gurung pieces for the occasion, rocking a purple floral Fall 2013 dress and dusty pink and mauve double-strap Casadei for Prabal Gurung shoes. A bold red lip completed the look.
Adriana Lima: The Brazilian bombshell wore a one-sleeved colorblocked Emanuel Ungaro Fall 2013 look, which she accessorized minimally with black booties and a silver bracelet.
Izabel Goulart: As the only model of the bunch to go with a floor-length silhouette, Izabel wore a black cutout Versace Fall 2013 gown with heavy ruching down the front, slick sleeve material, and a serious thigh split. Patent black pumps rounded out the look.
Candice Swanepoel: The model chose an itty-bitty LWD from Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2013 Couture collection for her red-carpet appearance. The long-sleeved mini showcased cutouts at the arms and, as you may have noticed, one giant cutout down the front of the dress, leaving ample room for Candice to show off a long chain-link Lorraine Schwartz necklace. A small black clutch and strappy black pumps were her only other accessories.
What do you think?
Do you share my view of some of these outfits being too revealing?
Let me know your opinions and views guys.
Bye, I’ll talk to you guys in the next post.
Winter, winter, winter, it means so many things; the start of colder weather and the ending of the school term – both of which I’m excited for. And, winter also means that I can break out my favourite winter accessories.
Scarves and mittens!
I love these accessories for winter, they keep you warm and their stylish too. Winter could possibly be my favourite season of the year; I just love how cold it gets, even here in the Caribbean – although it doesn’t get THAT cold here. But, scarves and mittens at night time are definitely an option.
There are just so many types of scarves my favourite though is the infinity scarf, there are just so many ways that you can wear it and that’s good for me because I like to switch things up every now and again.
In my opinion though, mittens keep you way warmer than scarves do and they’re my favourite of the two. They can be so comfy, chic and even kind of corky at times.
So, what would you say are your favourite winter accessories?
Bye, I’ll talk to you in the next post.
